Man Charged With Felonies For Showing Stolen Handgun In Public, Fleeing: Bethlehem Police

A Lehigh Valley man was arrested after showing off a stolen handgun to a group of people and running from police, authorities said.

Quamyr J. Gray, 19, was charged with felony counts of receiving stolen property and firearms not to be carried without a license, as well as resisting arrest and possession of marijuana, Bethlehem Police said in a release on Monday, July 4.

Gray, of Bangor, showed a handgun to a group of people on the 200 block of E. North St. around 6:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, police said.

Gray then ran from responding officers but was found a short time later on the 700 block of Linden St. with the weapon — which was determined to have been stolen — as well as a small amount of marijuana, police said.
